Floris Suite Hotel Review

Dutch interior designer Jan des Bouvrie has used warm mahogany shades offset by cool, sleek stainless-steel adornments in the suites of this modernist hotel, all of which have a balcony or porch and a full kitchen. The friendly staff goes out of its way to make your stay comfortable, including stocking rooms with groceries if requested. A lush tropical garden surrounds the pool, and the beach and dive shop are across the street. Although aesthetically pleasing, the minimalist decor of the spacious suites and the stark open-air lobby give this hotel a somewhat aloof feel, perhaps making it better suited for business travel than for a romantic getaway.
