Shete Boka

Shete Boka Review

The name of this park means "Seven Inlets" in Papiamento. Indeed, the sea has carved out seven magnificent grottoes, the largest of which is Boka Tabla, where you can watch and listen to the waves crashing against the rocks beneath a limestone overhang. Boka Pistol is also spectacular, with thunderous waves smashing into the rocks and jetting up into towering plumes of spray, often leaving rainbows lingering in the mist. Several of the surrounding caverns serve as turtle nesting places; you might also spot flocks of parakeets emerge in formation, hawks soar and dip, and gulls dive-bomb for their lunch.
