Playa Lagun Review
This northwestern cove is caught between gray cliffs, which dramatically frame the Caribbean blue. Cognoscenti know this as one of the best places to snorkel—even for kids—because of the calm, shallow water. It's also a haven for fishing boats and canoes. There's a small dive shop on the beach, a snack bar (open weekends), and restrooms, but there's no fee. Amenities: food and drink; parking; showers; toilets. Best for: snorkeling; swimming; walking.
