ATVs and Scooters
Eric's ATV Adventures. Hit the road in rugged style behind the wheel of an all-terrain vehicle with Eric's ATV Adventures. All you need for a guided tour of the countryside is a regular driver's license. If you're 10 or older, you can ride as a passenger in the backseat. Helmets and goggles are provided. Babor Kibra z/n, Seaquarium Beach, Willemstad. 5999/524-7418.
Curaçao Buggy Adventures. Strap on a helmet for an adventurous, guided excursion around the island's most popular sites with Curaçao Buggy Adventures. Visit caves and forts, stop for a swim or snorkel; you can even design your own tour if you're a group of four or more. Three-hour beach buggy trips are $150 per couple, and the fee includes safety equipment, insurance, gas, a guide, and pickup at your hotel. There is also a five-hour buggy tour for $285 per couple, which includes lunch. Experience isn't required, but cyclists will have an easier time maneuvering a scooter. You'll get some instruction and the chance to race around a practice course before you go. Children under 16 may ride as passengers. Wear sneakers, sunglasses, and sunscreen; bring a swimsuit, insect repellent, and a camera—and you're off! Martin Luther King Blvd. 8, Willemstad. 5999/696-2182. www.curacaobuggyadventures.com.
