Fodor's Review

Most people agree that this building is Havana's second-ugliest structure (the Russian Embassy, ironically, is considered the ugliest). A stay here, however, means you won't spend much time looking at it; indeed, the views (of the city and the Straits of Florida) from it are terrific. It's such a good deal that the clientele is usually an interesting collection of students, professors, and the occasional writer. What's more, the disco is one of the city's hottest.
