Paradisus Río de Oro Review

This Spanish-operated resort (once the Meliá Rio de Oro) has raised the bar for luxury along Holguín's coast. Playa Esmeralda is a short walk away, and you have access to two small private beaches on protected coves. The beaches are lined with native trees, and there's an excellent coral reef just offshore that will appeal to snorkelers. Golf carts, on call 24 hours, whisk you from your door to the beach or the pool complex. Two ocean-side garden villas have their own beach, pool, lookout tower, and butler, placing them among the most luxurious accommodations in Cuba.
