This cheerful, cherished locals' secret serves haute comfort food at bargain-basement prices. Even the poolside building, painted a delectable lemon with lime shutters, whets the appetite. Sunshine ranks high in the island's greatest burger debate, while the jerk chicken egg rolls and fabulous fish tacos elevate pub grub to an art form. Wash it down with one of the many signature libations, like the Painkiller. Take advantage of affordably priced nightly dinner specials like red snapper amandine and Cuban pork loin with sofrito (a dip of cilantro, garlic, onions, and oregano). Don't miss Thursday's all-you-can-eat Caribbean BBQ buffet.

I had to try the fish tacos after hearing so much about them, and they were excellent! Should have gone back to try the burgers, but didn't make it. Quaint little restaurant within the Sunshine hotel, nice and cool with ceiling fans and screened-in area. Cute little bar inside with flat-screen tv showing sports. Service was polite and quick, with fair prices. One treat was a cute little ice cream cone complimentary at the end of my meal.
