Island Glassblowing Studio Review
The studio is run by the Zawistowski family of designers, who offer free demonstrations of their incredible skills as they almost acrobatically gather red-hot molten glass with long steel rods from a 2,000°F furnace, then roll it in vibrantly hued powders. Figurines (dolphins to elephants) to functional art (vases, platters) to fetching jewelry that captures the light all glow in cobalt to coral colors that rival nature's creativity.
