The vibrant food here lives up to its nickname: "cuisine of the sun." It's an outpost of chef Cindy Hutson and Delius Shirley's Miami Ortanique, which helped revolutionize Floribbean fusion fare. The interior gleams in rich yellows and oranges that subtly recall plantation living, though prize seating is on the patio, shaded by sea grape trees overlooking an islet. There is an emphasis on Caribbean and South American cuisine infused with Asian inspirations. The kitchen reinvents classics with an island twist: jerk-rubbed foie gras with burnt-orange marmalade, and the signature jerked double pork chop, fire-tamed by passion-fruit-mango chimichurri. Save room for such decadent desserts as a deceptively airy Cloud of Coconut Joy or rum-soaked banana fritters. Best of all are almost nightly happy hour specials from Mojito Madness Mondays to Throwback Thursdays.
