Nested in lush foliage right at the water's edge, this small resort on Beef Island provides a pleasant respite for vacationers who want a villa atmosphere with some hotel amenities. The hotel has a chef who whips up meals for an extra charge. A studio villa with minimal kitchen facilities is tucked up in the trees, but the one- and two-bedroom villas are right at the water's edge. It takes about a minute to walk to Sandy Well Bay Beach. Wood furniture and attractive tile floors provide a comfortable ambience. The public spaces are equally cozy, with pergolas providing shade. Service such as massage as well as yoga and Pilates classes are available. Pros: Lovely rooms, beautiful beach, chef on call. Cons: Need car to get around, no restaurants nearby.
