Foxy's Tamarind

Fodor's Review:

One of the true hot spots in the BVI—and a must-stop for yachties from the world over—Foxy's hosts the madcap Wooden Boat Race every May and throws big parties on New Year's Eve (locals call it "Old Year's Night"), April Fools' Day, and Halloween. This lively place serves local food, has terrific barbecue dinners on Friday and Saturday nights, mixes its own rum punch, and serves its own brand of beer. Famed calypso performer and owner Foxy Callwood plays the guitar and creates calypso ditties about diners. Reservations for dinner are required by 5 PM.
