Each of these privately owned one- and two-bedroom villas is distinct in decor, with interiors ranging from spartan to stylish. The settings are unique, too. The House on the Hill, 80 feet above sea level, is assured of a cool breeze, complete privacy, and spectacular views of Sandy Cay. The Little House has a private path to the beach, three minutes away. Sunfish and kayaks are available for rent. Foliage, ranging from native greenery to cacti, abounds on this eastern end of the island. The closest civilization is Foxy's Taboo, about a half-mile away. Your kitchen can be prestocked, or you can bring or buy your own groceries. To get here you need to take a water taxi from St. Thomas or West End, Tortola, to the resort's private dock. Pros: A place to get away from it all, secluded feel, each villa is unique. Cons: Only reachable by boat, not accessible for people with disabilities.
