Picture yourself nearly alone in a tropical paradise. These three cottages sit 50-feet from the water's edge, where you can swim, sun, snorkel and stroll down miles of gorgeous white-sand beaches, or catch up on all that reading you've always wanted to do. The center double cottage, which separates two 1-bedroom units, can be rented individually or together. Furnishings are simple; wood with pastel-pattered bedspreads and curtains. There are ceiling fans to supplement the trade winds, along with fully equipped kitchens, small living rooms, open-air front porches, and thatched umbrellas each with two lounge chairs underneath on the beach. If you get tired of cooking in, the Pomato Point Restaurant is within walking distance. Pros: Affordable rates, right on the water. Cons: Basic rooms, no air-conditioning.
