If getting away from it all is your priority, this may be the place for you, because there's nothing to do on this beach-rimmed island other than swim, snorkel, and soak up the sun—there's not even a TV to distract you. Rooms, decorated in simple wicker and wood with floral-print fabrics, are on a hilltop facing the trade winds; two villas look right out to the morning sunrise. The laid-back tempo picks up at 4:30 pm, when charter boaters come ashore to hear local musicians entertain in the bar during happy hour. The restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, serves a classic menus with fish, lobster, steak, chicken, and barbecued ribs. Pusser's Painkiller Punch is the house specialty. There's free ferry service from the Trellis Bay dock for anyone visiting the island, though ferry times and frequency vary with the seasons. There's Wi-Fi, but only in public areas.
