Corsairs Beach Bar and Restaurant

Corsairs Beach Bar and Restaurant Review

On an island known for seafood, it's the pizza that draws raves at this friendly beach bar considered by some to be Jost's version of Cheers. If pizza doesn't appeal, then try the outstanding sushi, northern Italian pasta dishes, and fresh seafood, including a brilliant lobster stuffed with shrimp and scallops. Bring an appetite to breakfast, when the choices include hearty omelets and breakfast burritos. The bar is easily recognized by its signature pirate paraphernalia and a restored U.S. military M37 Dodge truck parked next to the steps-from-the-sea dining room. Live music, potent libations, and the only Jägermeister machine in the territory (it chills your shots to 28°F) keep things moving from happy hour into the night. Even if you're not hungry, this is a great hangout.
