Fodor's Expert Review Sorobon Beach

Caribbean Beach

Bonaire's best beach is also the place to windsurf (snorkeling is also amazing here). The sand is powdery white, and the gin-clear water is shallow, allowing swimmers to walk right up to the reef on a calm day. You can also rent a stand-up paddleboards here, too. On-site operators offer equipment rentals and expert instructions for lessons for windsurfing and wing foiling. Two restaurants offer diverse menus, tropical drinks, and lounge rentals. The public beach area has restrooms and shade huts. Amenities: food and drink; parking; showers; toilets; water sports. Best for: swimming; snorkeling; paddleboarding; windsurfing.
