Diving —both open-water reef dives and beach dives—is among the best in the world. But there is plenty for nondivers to do as well. Day sails are popular for snorkelers who want to see some of the ocean life but who are not certified. Sportfishing is also a popular activity, and several captains can take you out to search for big-game fish. Near-constant trade winds make Bonaire a popular windsurfing destination. Though things are pretty quiet at night, the island has some very good restaurants.
