Bermuda

Bermuda's arts scene is concentrated in a number of art galleries—Masterworks in the Botanical Gardens, City Hall in Hamilton, and the Arts Centre in Dockyard are the best known—a handful of performance venues, and a few gathering spots, like Rock Island Coffee on Reid Street. For dramatic and musical performances, the The Earl Cameron Theatre, the Mid-Ocean Amphitheatre at the Fairmont Southampton Resort, and the Ruth Seaton James Auditorium at CedarBridge Academy host the country's best, including Bermuda Festival events.

  • 1. Chewstick

Despite a fire that destroyed its headquarters in 2017, Chewstick is still going strong as a community arts organization attracting a diverse crowd of artists. Open mics are still popular, but check the website for upcoming dates and locations as there is currently no permanent space. Anything goes, whether it's music, spoken word, or dance. Chewstick is a great place to mingle with locals.
