Fodor's Review

Serene water views of Hamilton Harbour and gracious service combine with top-notch continental and Bermudian cuisine to make Harley's one of the best restaurants in Hamilton. Chefs prepare a wonderful Bermudian specialty: baked rockfish smothered in the local-favorite chili gombey jam. Dry-aged beef is always cooked to perfection, but if you prefer something vegetarian, try the melon and goat cheese truffles or the grilled eggplant baked with tomato. They also offer gluten

free and vegan alternatives. The restaurant is bright and airy, and in summer has a large outside canopy. Early-morning risers can enjoy a royal buffet or an all-you-can-eat Sunday brunch for $42. Complimentary wine tasting is available to diners on Wednesday evening and a barbecue on Tuesday evening.

Food Ok - Service Terrible

The food was edible but the service was so slow we were ready to leave ! Had to ask 4 times for a napkin. Too expensive foe the type of service that we had plus the food was just OK. Can't recommend this one !

OK, morning buffet

Our group ate here every morning and the food was pretty good. They offered a wide variety of fresh fruit, egg selections including poached eggs on an english muffin with hollandaise (often stale), but they did have a chef standing by to prepare fresh omelets (very good) and waffles. Overall, it was fairly generic for the price. The service was outstanding however, except for Sunday. If you go on Sunday, I would strongly recommend making reservations

or going early. If it's just you and a friend, your wait will be much less.

can't compain

We were staying at the Fairmont princess hotel. We enjoyed a delicious buffet here each morning. Pricey, but most hotel buffet breakfast are just that. Lunch's were very good. We ate dinner once here and enjoyed everything about it. We sat outside for dinner, but inside probably would have been a little more special. Sitting outside you are forced to look at the pool which probably still has some children left hanging around, even at dinner time.

The service was excellent. Wine List was nice, and reasonable.
