Fourways Inn Review

With a top-notch restaurant on-site, this pleasant cottage colony comes to life at meal times, but for the rest of the day you have to entertain yourself as you're in the middle of the island with limited facilities. That said, it's very easy to pass the time in such a beautiful garden setting. The colony is set amid a profusion of greenery and flowers around a pool; its suites have marble floors and balconies or patios. The main edifice is a family home, which belonged to the owners of Harvey's Bristol Crème in the 1700s. Its suites have marble floors and balconies or patios.

    Christmas at Fourways

I stayed at Fourways over Christmas in 2011. The inn was largely empty and this was fine by me! I enjoyed the peaceful, quiet grounds of the inn and found the restaurant enchanting. It was also terrific to be just a minute's week from a bus stop and five minutes walk to a large grocery store.

    Jewel of Bermuda

I love this small, intimate cottage colony. The rooms have recently been renovated and are most attractive and comfortable. They have small kitchenette areas allowing for easy storage of drinks, snacks, etc. The grounds are gorgeous. Breakfast and the paper brought to your room every morning starts the day in a wonderful fashion. Easy walk to grocery store, Bermuda Railway Trail, the ferry or a bus stop.
