Dockyard Glassworks and Bermuda Rum Cake Company

Dockyard Glassworks and Bermuda Rum Cake Company Review

Pull up an armchair and watch as artists turn molten glass into vases, plates, miniature tree frogs, and other collectibles. Afterward help yourself to the rum-cake samples. Flavors include traditional black rum, chocolate, coconut, rum swizzle (with tropical fruit juices), coffee, banana, and ginger. You can buy the cakes duty-free for $14.95, $28, and $38 or pickup a specially presented cake in a tin for $42. Black rum fruitcake and loquat cakes are also sold for $17.50. If you buy glassware, the company will pack the purchase and deliver it to your hotel or cruise ship for a $5 fee. A small outlet in St. George's sells a collection of glasswork in addition to the cakes.
