This time-share complex, which looks and feels like a 1990s condo community, is the closest thing to a modern hotel in St. George's. The grounds are tidy, ample, and perched atop a hill on the scenic eastern end of the island. A walk (or drive) down a garden path takes you into town from the 18-acre site. Clean one- and two-bedroom cottages come with a fully equipped kitchen and views of the ocean, one of three pools, or a public golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones. The sleek, three-story main building holds the lobby, business center, a convenience store where you can buy champagne and sunblock, and there are two restaurants: Griffin's, serving contemporary food, and The Beach House, a beautiful hangout spot with a breathtaking view.
