Ragamuffins Review

Tiny, funky, lively, and informal, Ragamuffins is the only restaurant on Barbados in an authentic chattel house. The menu offers seafood, perfectly broiled T-bone steaks, West Indian curries, and vegetarian dishes such as Bajan stir-fried vegetables with noodles. Dine inside or out. The kitchen is within sight of the bar—which is a popular meeting spot most evenings for vacationers and locals alike. The weekly "Drag Show," on Sunday nights, becomes a huge party that spills into the street.

    Funky & Fun

We had a good time here. Place had reopened after a fire had destroyed the original building but same staff, owner and good food we had last year.
Their drag show nights are great fun.

    Good Enough

Compared to all the overpriced, overhyped tourist traps all over Barbados, Ragamuffins, was at least, priced right for the average food. It was a genuinely casual atmosphere, which was refreshing here. The menu is limited and the food is average, but that's not so bad, considering the food is average just about everywhere in Barbados.
