$$$-$$$$, Seafood, South Coast
Fodor's Review:
The signature restaurant of Austrian restaurateur Josef Schwaiger, in a cliff-side Bajan dwelling surrounded by gardens, is one of the most upscale seaside dining spots on the south coast. Josef's cuisine fuses Asian culinary techniques and Caribbean flavors with fresh seafood. Fruits of the sea -- seared yellowfin tuna with mango-cilantro sauce or catch of the day with tomato fondue and creamed potatoes -- are prominent, and the wine list is extensive. Try shredded duck with herbed hoisin pancakes as an innovative starter, or let the free-range chicken teriyaki with stir-fry noodles tingle your taste buds. Pasta dishes assuage the vegetarian palate.
