$$-$$$, Caribbean, East Coast
Fodor's Review:
People have been stopping by for lunch with a view here since 1945, when Mrs. Enid Maxwell bought this property, a quaint, 19th-century seaside hotel. New owners have kept up Mrs. Maxwell's tradition -- all Bajan cuisine that complements the natural environment. Each Wednesday and Sunday the enormous buffet includes pumpkin fritters, rice and peas, breadfruit casserole, steamed fish creole, oven-barbecued chicken, pepper pot, macaroni pie, ratatouille, and more. Homemade coconut pie tops the dessert list. The Atlantis is a lunch stop for organized day tours, so it sometimes get crowded.
