$$$$, Italian, West Coast
Fodor's Review:
Wedged between the Tamarind Cove Hotel and its sister hotel, The House, Daphne's is the chic and glamorous Caribbean outpost of the famed London eatery. The chef whips up contemporary versions of classic Italian dishes. Grilled mahimahi, for example, becomes "modern Italian" when combined with marsala wine, peperonata, and zucchini. Perfectly prepared pappardelle with braised duck, red wine, and oregano is a sublime pasta choice. Light meals, salads, and half-portions of pasta are available at lunch. The extensive wine list features both regional Italian and fine French selections.
