Fernander Tours. In addition to being a taxi driver and island tour guide extraordinaire, Mr. Clifford Fernander is also The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism's representative for San Salvador Island, and is full of information for the inquisitive tourist. Great Inagua Tours. Mr. Colin Ingraham has been a tour guide for over twenty years, specializing in birding and island sight-seeing. He can also take you trawling for deep-sea fish including tuna or wahoo, or snorkeling on the reefs. A complete island tour includes a stop in the National Park to scout birds and wildlife (including flamingos and wild donkeys) and visits to natural caves, the Morton Salt facility, lighthouses, and the local museum. Lagoon Tours. Cruise through secluded Pigeon Creek in a flat-bottom boat that maxes at five people to view baby sharks, sea turtles, and starfish, and top off the trip shell hunting on High Cay. As the island's Warden for the Bahamas National Trust, Nat Walker has a unique understanding of the island's nature and history, and he will customize island tours to include visits to monuments, private beach picnics, native restaurants, shopping, and the like. Omar 's Long Island Guided Tours. Omar is more than just a tour guide.
