Owned by the large, gregarious Russell family, you will usually find at least some of them eating Sherman's delicious Cat Island specialties, including grits and crab cakes, cracked conch, pan-seared whole snapper, barbecued ribs, conch salad, conch chowder, and lobster with peas 'n' rice. Most of the vegetables are grown on the Russell's farm and the fish comes right off that day's boat. It's best to call ahead and place your order, and also a good idea to follow Sherman's excellent dinner suggestions. The large restaurant has a big room for meetings and special occasions.
