Book NowSammy T's Beach Resort Review
Tucked away in a small cove on a dream beach, this tranquil boutique resort has seven one- and two-bedroom villas. Each villa has rattan furnishings with plush white cushions and fabrics, wooden floors, island art, high-beamed ceilings, and verandas with views of the beach. The restaurant serves three delicious meals a day, plus the bar serves afternoon goodies like conch fritters and conch chowder that go great with a cold Kalik. Sammy T and his staff provide personalized service and can arrange activities from fishing to snorkeling to island tours. Guests play billiards at the bar, which has a great view of the beach. They also arrange your airport ground transfers to and from the resort.

Did the reviewer actually stay there and if so, when and for how long?
Yes, the beach is beautiful and the resort is tranquil, but the pool is not a few steps from the beach (unless you have a very liberal definition of a few steps). It is directly in front of the restaurant porch and in full sun all day. No one used it when we were there even though people said they would have if it were in a different location.
The meals were not "delicious", they were "okay". The chef (who everyone said was a great cook) left a couple months ago. Now the main courses were mostly overcooked and dry. There were no "afternoon goodies", not sure what you mean. The ocean view rooms are a great distance from the beach and behind the gardens (which are lovely). You have to have a lot of imagination to view more than a couple inches of the ocean from an ocean view room. The garden view rooms are down a flight of stairs behind the restaurant and in the parking lot.
You should tell people that they charge for using a credit card, because the hotel doesn't tell you this until you get the bill.
