Stella Maris Resort Club Review

Stella Maris is more than a resort; it is a community, with private homes built by people from all over the world. There are many accommodation choices, including spacious one- and two-bedroom cottages steps away from the lodge-restaurant, all with an ocean view or balcony. Lovely beach homes, some with pools, are also available for rent. Sitting atop a hilly ridge overlooking the Atlantic, this sprawling resort has a range of daily activities that make it a Bahamian classic. Swim in three freshwater pools, lounge on a series of private beaches, or explore sandy coves with excellent snorkeling. Free morning and afternoon activity programs include beach trips, sailing at Deal's beach, boat cruises with snorkeling, and kayaking. The resort can also arrange all sorts of excursions, such as deep-sea fishing, bonefishing, and scuba diving. Located south of the resort, just off Queen's Highway is the Stella Maris Marina, a full-service marina with showers and changing rooms. Fresh seafood is the highlight of the main restaurant's rotating menus. There is a weekly rum-punch pool party, a cave party, weekly barbecues, and other lively events.
