Bridge Inn and Restaurant Review
Atmospheric rooms with walls built of local stone and wood, and high wood ceilings and private patios, have modern bathrooms and flat-screen TVs. It's not on the beach but backs up to the pretty Fountain Bay creek, a saltwater estuary great for fishing, and it's a five-minute walk to the white-sand Fountain Bay beach. Use this friendly, family-run motel and apartment property as a base for exploring the island on your own. The apartments, which overlook the creek, have two bedrooms, 1½ baths, cable TV, and a full kitchen. The inn's restaurant will pack you a picnic lunch. Special rates are available if you stay five nights or more.
