Sandals Emerald Bay Review
The former luxurious Four Seasons is now the even more luxurious Sandals Emerald Bay, an all-inclusive resort of pink and aqua buildings facing a 1-mi-long stretch of powdery white sand. The resort, which opened in 2010, has "all-butler" suites, which means guests have their own butler to tend to their vacation needs. The room rate includes all food at the resort's five restaurants (except the caviar and vodka bar) and all nonmotorized water sports. The 7,000-yard, par-72 Greg Norman-designed championship Sandals Emerald Reef Golf Course is the only one on the island. A deepwater marina with 150 slips, three pools including the largest pool—at over half an acre—in the Bahamas and Caribbean, the largest Jacuzzi in the region, and a huge spa with 17 treatment rooms round out the amenities. The resort complex includes the three-bedroom, two-story house with private pool that Celine Dion rented when she was on the island.

An All-Inclusive With Style
This all-inclusive Sandals resort tucked away on Great Exuma Island in the Bahamas offers the best of all worlds: Complete seclusion just 50 minutes from Miami, pampering services, and top-notch amenities for less than you'd pay for similar perks elsewhere in the Caribbean. Book yourself into one of the 96 butler suites and a personal attendant will unpack your bags, serve lunch on the resort's mile-long white-sand beach, and arrange tee times and spa services. Then, avail yourself of the award-winning seaside 18-hole golf course, splendid half-acre pool, seven restaurants (including the sophisticated La Parisienne), posh spa with West Indian treatments, and scuba diving and sailing outings. Not that you'll ever want to leave the island.
