Elegant and romantic, this restaurant specializes in French cuisine with a Bahamian twist. Dine by candlelight in the intimate dining room or alfresco on the patio overlooking the lush gardens. Start with caviar or goose liver pâté, then try the signature grouper served in a puff pastry with crabmeat and coconut cream sauce. Or go with someone you love and share the chateaubriand for two.

Went there as per fodor's recommendation and was hugely disappointed: the overpriced food is very poor, half of the menu is not available.e.g. only conch soup from all the soups! The servie is pretentious and poor. I don't understand why Fodor's is recommending such a restaurant to readers! They charged us $10 for a bottle of drinking water ( the same one they serve with ice to everyone else!) - clearly the restaurant should be avoided.

Based on the write up in our Fodor's travel book, we thought this might be a great place for dinner. My family and I arrived there to learn the food was sub par and hugely overpriced. I mean, the raspberry ice palate cleanser was freezer burned. My broccoli came out smelling burned, and the puff pastry of one their special dishes was soggy. What a disappointment all around.
