Classic Old Bahamian in style, the Dunmore is proud of its guest-to-staff ratio (almost one-to-one) and the length of service of its employees (10 years is not considered a long time here). Accommodations are private New England-style cottages with exquisite interiors, including gorgeous marble bathrooms with two-person whirlpool tubs, enormous stand-alone showers, and separate sink-vanity areas. In the cozy clubhouse you'll find a Villeroy & Boch-tile ocean-view honor bar, comfy settees, a working fireplace, and a well-stocked library. This is the most formal place to stay or dine on the island. The restaurant serves a four-course international menu from 7 to 8:30 PM. The club's clientele consists predominantly of the yachting crowd.
