Fodor's Review:
If you want to dine where the locals do, hit Sam's. Proprietor Sam Gray owns a complex of businesses in town, including the liquor store. Breakfast is especially favored and Exumians call ahead to see whether the day's menu includes stew fish, boil fish, or souse. Those who don't have time to sit down at the clean, modern café -- which overlooks the bay -- line up for takeout. Dinner selections are typical -- lobster (called "crawfish" here), steak, lamb chops, and cracked conch.
