Surfer's Beach

Fodor's Review:

Gregory Town's claim to fame lies about 2½ mi south of town, where Surfer's Beach, the site of a funky shack from the 1960s, still draws wave-catchers from December through May. If you don't have a jeep, you can walk the ¾ mi to this Atlantic-side beach—follow rough-and-bumpy Ocean Boulevard at Eleuthera Island Shores just south of town.
