The back door of the small, noisy End of the World Bar is always open to the harbor. This place -- with a sandy floor and visitors' graffiti, business cards, and other surprises on every surface -- is a good spot to meet local folks over a beer and a backgammon board. In the late '60s, the bar became a hangout of the late New York congressman Adam Clayton Powell, who retreated to North Bimini while Congress investigated his alleged misdemeanors. A marble plaque in his honor is displayed in the bar. The bar is 100 yards from the Bimini Bay Rod and Gun Club ruins.
