Take a journey through Nassau's pirate days in this interactive museum devoted to such notorious members of the city's past as Blackbeard, Mary Read, and Anne Bonney. Costumed guides greet you at every turn, some of them offering dialogue straight from a period adventure novel. Board a pirate ship, see dioramas of intrigue on the high seas, hear historical narration, and experience sound effects re-creating some of the gruesome highlights. Children under 12 get in free with a paying adult, and kids 12-17 pay half price, making it a fun (if slightly scary) family outing. Be sure to check out the offbeat souvenirs in the Pirate Shop, and the lively Pirate Pub and Courtyard Grill, next door.
