Dolphin Beach Resort

Fodor's Review:

You'll be tempted to stay forever at this upscale haven. Spacious, uniquely designed rooms and larger cottages—handcrafted of Abaco pine by Guana Cay shipwrights—are all painted in bright Junkanoo colors. Each island-style cottage is individually furnished and includes a private deck or terrace. Two cottages are set away from the resort, ideal for honeymooners. Outside, secluded showers are surrounded by bougainvillea and sea grape trees. Boardwalk nature trails winding through the carefully tended 15-acre property lead to miles of secluded beach. The Blue Water Grill ($$-$$$) is a special treat. For lunch, try the famous fried chicken, sandwich wraps, or quesadillas. At dinner, seafood curry, grilled tuna, and prime rib can be accompanied by a nice selection of wines. Dinner reservations are a must.
