Hank's Place Restaurant and Bar

Fodor's Review:

On the north side of Fresh Creek, a block or so east of the bridge, this restaurant and bar is shaded by coconut palms and graced with clear views of the water. Bahamian specialties—panfried grouper, baked hog snapper, and fresh conch salad—make it a favorite hangout for locals and visitors. Fresh lobster, prepared to your liking, is available in season (August-March). Hank's signature cocktail, aptly named "Hanky Panky," is a dynamite frozen rum and fruit juice concoction. If you're looking for a cheap stay, Hank has four air-conditioned guest rooms for rent. He also rents flats boats and he can arrange fishing guides.
