Fodor's Review

This independent collection of 27 small shops and booths on the west side of the Port Lucaya Marketplace is comprised of individual Bahamian artisans, each selling unique arts and homemade handicrafts, many customized on request. Items for sale include sea-shell ornaments, candles, soaps, straw goods, dolls, and more. Don't miss seeing Mrs. Goldsmith's fun and fanciful paper hats, made from recycled cardboard. Stop by Ms. Ferguson's fruit stand for fresh coconut water or a daiquiri served up in a coconut shell.
