Outriggers Native Restaurant

Outriggers Native Restaurant Review

For Bahamian food fixed by Bahamians, head to the generational property of an old island family at Taino Beach. This open-aired beach shack restaurant serves up cracked conch (pounded and fried), lobster tail, fried grouper, and barbecue chicken down-home style. On Wednesday nights the quiet little settlement comes to life when Outriggers throws its famous weekly fish fry, where you'll wait in line for the fried fish (with the head and tail still on)—make sure you try it with the lemon pepper sauce. Come early for the food, stay late for the party. Occasional beach bonfires add to the fun.
