Eight Mile Rock Review
You have to get off the main road to get to the heart and soul of Grand Bahama Island. This settlement, only 10 mi from Freeport Harbour, holds some pleasant surprises along its seaside road, including a historic church and cemetery and a string of brightly painted food shacks known as Sunset Village, where home cooking, rum punch, and Thursday-night live music make for a fun, old-island experience.
