$, San Salvador
Fodor's Review:
A diver's dream, this motel-style resort offers three dives per day to pristine offshore reefs and a drop-off wall teeming with life. It's also the only place to stay on San Salvador if you want to manage your own activities. The inn's three buildings house rooms facing either the ocean or the freshwater pool. All rooms have washed-oak furniture and a sitting area with a table and chairs; ocean-side rooms have refrigerators and queen-size beds. The restaurant ($-$$) serves grilled wahoo and tuna right off the boat as well as hearty pancake breakfasts. There's good bonefishing you can do on your own.
