Laughing Bird Apartments
Fodor's Review:
English architect Dan Davies (designer of Windermere Island Club and Jacques Cousteau's villa) and his wife, Jean, own these four tidy apartments on an acre of land at the water's edge. Linens and crockery (including an English teapot and china cups) are furnished. You can stock your kitchen with produce from local stores or dine at any of the four restaurants within walking distance. This is a quiet, on-your-own kind of place, where relaxing and fishing are the name of the game.
