Big John's Conch Shell Bar and Hotel

Fodor's Review:
Seven deluxe hotel rooms, remodeled in 2006, five with ocean views, two with town views, are perfect for the traveler who wants to get away from the megaresort scene, but still stay in style. Amenities include flat-screen TVs, antique nautical furniture, high-thread-count sheets, soft oversize towels, and boutique soaps. Downstairs, the casual island lounge serves up icy rum drinks along with a full array of international cocktails. Much of the staff used to work at the now closed Compleat Angler. Large flat-screen satellite TV is available to watch your favorite sporting events. The Hypnotics, Bimini's favorite band for 20 years, plays live music Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.
