¢-$, Caribbean, Eleuthera Island
Fodor's Review:
On a hillside overlooking the town and the harbor, this mid-19th-century farmhouse is now an atmospheric restaurant with an outdoor dining area surrounded by a garden of bougainvillea, hibiscus, and coconut palm. The beach is a leisurely five-minute stroll away, and the harbor, where you can also swim, is within shouting distance. Local artwork graces the walls at the Buccaneer Club, where you can sample such native specialties as grouper, conch, and crawfish (breakfast and lunch only).
