A more upscale version of the other Poop Deck, this waterside restaurant has soaring ceilings, a cool-pink-and-aqua color scheme, and a dazzling view of Cable Beach. Start with sweet-potato fish cakes or grilled shrimp and Brie before diving into the fresh seafood, paired with a selection from the extensive wine list. There's a smattering of choices for the seafood-phobic.

Dinner On the Beach
Posted by Hugh from California on 4/10/06
I have enjoyed many wonderfull diners around the world, The Poop Deck @ Sandyport though will go down as one of the best. I wanted to impress my date, I wanted something that would really impress her. I found the place, The Poop Deck out west, we ate dinner right on the beach, the surf was ten feet away from us. Stone crab and champagne was what we started on, then we had a grilled snapper that we picked as we arrived, all I can say is we are planing to return, what started out as a great dinner ended up being a great night, cant wait to get back.
Thanks Poop Deck

One of the Best & Freshest Seafood I have ever had. An A+ Restaurant in my Book!
Posted by Barbara from New York. NY on 12/10/05
I have eaten at PoopDeck SandyPort several times now as each time I visit Nassau, I still crave their food. Their hog snapper grilled whole is delicious and melts in your mouth with each bite. The Mahi Mahi & sweet potato mash dish is wonderful. Their lobster is always cooked just right, never overdone and their lamb and steaks are delicious. Like I said in the title, an A+ restaurant in my book.
I try to be disciplined with the carbohydrates but I still cant manage not eating at least one (or two) of their rolls before the food arrives. They are always warm and have a sweet touch to it. Other carbs that are a must include: shrimp pizza, conch fritters and their grouper wrap.
Last but not least, they offer seating on their outdoor deck but also right on the beach by request so you can have a romantic dinner for two listening to the waves crashing on the surf. Great place for a wedding ceremony & reception. They can hold up to about 300 people I believe. My friend had her destination wedding there for 200 and just loved it!
