In the British Colonial Hilton Nassau, Portofino offers homemade Italian pasta dishes and pizza as well as Bahamian favorites such as pan-seared snapper with mango sauce, conch chowder, and guava duff. The lavish lunch buffet far surpasses the usual hotel fare. For breakfast, don't miss the Bahamian johnnycakes. Ask for a window seat so you can see the cruise ships come and go in the harbor. After dinner, you can walk to the hotel's private beach for a lovely view of the harbor and Paradise Island.
