$, Caribbean, Green Turtle Cay
Fodor's Review:
The wooden deck at this casual restaurant was built around the wrecking tree, a place where 19th-century wrecking vessels brought their salvage. Today it's a cool place to linger over a cold Kalik and a hearty lunch of cracked conch, fish-and-chips, or zesty conch salad. Dinners may include turtle steak or grilled lobster -- if you order by 5 PM. Otherwise, choose from dishes like fresh-caught grouper and fried chicken. They have great pastries, too -- take some back to your hotel or rental cottage. And ask for Phil Stubb's CD if you like island music.
